The year in first lines

I can almost manage this one this year, which makes me happy!

January
No entry

February
If I wanted to summarise the year so far, I could talk about how I started it with a few days walking in Northumberland, and had an adventure to the west coast on my birthday...

March
Back from IVFDF, worn out and a bit surprised by the un-flat-ness of the south of England.

April
No entry

May
I was supposed to be going to Glasgow early this morning to go on the Waverley to Tarbert, but when I got to Haymarket I discovered that none of the ticket machines or cash machines were working for me.

June
I should not be trusted with weekends.

July
I have all sorts of good intentions about posting more, but I also have Too Much Too Do, and when I've done it I don't really want to make more words (and if I haven't I don't really get to play).

August
I have now emerged from a) festival preparation b) our festival c) Tarbert

September
I have resolved to come up with three positive things every day in September.

October
From the sextant book (which has had very little to do with sextants, really)

November
It's been an unusually beautiful autumn, I think, but it's reached the stage where you can sit and watch the leaves falling.

December
I skived off dancing tonight and had a Night Off instead - it was neither as useful nor as restful as it could have been, but I didn't study and I didn't leave the house, and that was nice.
