LJ Interests meme results

  1. children's books:
It might be more accurate to say children's fantasy, or to say that some of the authors I like to read have been categorised as writing for children. I'm not sure.
Of course, I like real children's books like The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Each Peach Pear Plum too ;)
  2. feet:
I have feet. They're useful for dancing with.
They also wiggle of their own accord when I'm sleeping/relaxing/thinking, to the amusement of various people.
  3. glasgow:
I lived there on and off for something like 7 years, so I couldn't help getting interested. It's also useful for getting to the west coast from.
  4. isobelle carmody:
See children's books. Author of the Obernewtyn series, which vililee and I have been waiting impatiently for the end of for more than 10 years now.
  5. menzies:
vililee believes that all sheep should be called menzies. I'm not entirely sure how they got into my interests list :)
  6. nights in:
These can become rare and precious at certain points of the dance season.
  7. runrig:
They make good music for me to listen to.
  8. scottish country dancing:
Possibly not so much an interest as an obsession. Although I am capable of thinking about other things.
This is one of the main things that I *do* - classes, dances, competitions, teaching, etc. It's fun. More people should try it :)
  9. star trek:
Less of an interest than it used to be. I was a DS9 addict in my late teens.
  10. tarbert:
On the west coast, south of inverary and north of campbeltown. albanach's hometown. One of my favourite places in the world.
I've been going there for my summer holidays since I was six months old, and at random other times since I could manage it. It's a good place to be.
